okay so not actually in person, but in books

it's official I have had my nose in a book the whole year

day 27 of the new year and I started my 4th book

that's a lot for me

i am a slow reader.

so far i have loved them all.

30 year old love story fanatic mormon girl finds loves in an unusual way.

So much more than circus life during the Great Depression.
 But I don't want to give anything away, just read it.
But warning you are going to want a pet elephant after.

As long as Sophie Kinsella writes about Becky Bloomwood I will read it.
I laughed the whole way though it.

I am only on page 19 but I have a feeling that I am going to like it.

Yes it is true that not a single one of these books is on "the list", i will get there. And I have crossed a few off "the list" The Other Boleyn girl:check, Pride and Prejudice:check, 1776:check, The hungry games series:check. And a few others off the list. check.check.check


I also need to add a few to the list off the top of my head: World War Z, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, The Uglies series, Son of a Witch, Frankenstein, finish Confessions of Georgia Nicholson books.... okay new list coming soon. Get your suggestions in now.

monday was a lazy day. thank you federal holidays.
we got out new couches last weekend so naturally we used them to make a fort asap.

it's a very simple but very perfect fort, and I do not want to take it down.

we hung out in the fort monday having a picnic and watching movies.

But it is also part Whittney's random thoughts, travels, recipes, wish lists, movie reviews, personal book club, television shows, spiritual thoughts, story telling, pictures, food posts, june, a creative outlet which I mostly post all of that on my June blog now. Pretty much this blog is a big jumbled mess of Whittney. One thing I have not tried yet is a fashion post. I am thinking about it, I love clothes way too much. One of the bloggers I followed did a whole month of fashion posts. It was awesome. February is a shorter month maybe I will try it.

my momma came to visit all last week, it was the best! well it actually rained and was cold all week so we had fun hanging out inside.

new years resolutions:

spend more time on scripture study and my callings
cook heathly meals
read a book a month (januarys already done!)
visit somewhere I have never been (lifetime goal of at least one new place a year)
learn 100 new words in Spanish

2010 highlights

Jan. Enjoyed the BOTH of us being graduated. Ry gets his dream job. Our niece Azlynn is born.

Feb. Ry leaves for 4 1/2 months of training. whit moves home with family.

March. lots of phone dates

April. Whit visit's Ryan, weekend vaca at Amilea Island.

May. Ry turns 27, Whit visit's Ryan & Jacksonville.

June. Ryan graduates the acadamy, whit and his mom suprise him in GA for it, move to texas, whit = 23

July. Kaylee and Tyler get married aka visit to Idaho. Whittney & Allyx start the June blog.

August. 2 year anniversary! Whit finds a job in CC

Sept. football started and we got to watch my brothers games online! My parents 25 anniversary.

Oct. Shelby and Bryan get married aka another visit to Idaho!

Nov. hp 7 premeire, delish Thanksgiving.

Dec. NYC, Idaho and a very merry christmas! Our necie Anstion is born. And the worst move ever.

2010 was a great year with lots of big events and accomplishments cant wait to see where we will be and what we will be doing this time next year!
