It was also my first time EVER camping with Ry he is also a good camper.
Lesson learned: green lighters do not light green fires

dear grand teton mall

i don't like you, please look into a new selection of stores. May I give you some suggestions? thanks, urban, antro, h&m, sephora, nordstrom, and zara. It would really help me out, they are all so far away and I don't care much for online shopping. Unfortunately the lack of stores in your mall make me resort to it. Thank you for your time.

sincerely,
whittney

happy girl

I had a nice break from school.... here are the highlights

-camping in Zion National Park with the Moedls we had such a great time despite the cold weather, but I will put put picks and make a post all about it

-BBQ with our families to celebrate Ryan's graduation

-playing tennis with the Kulisch's for the first time this summer, i even got sunburned it was such a beautiful day!

-I saw 17 again and Hannah Montana movie, loved them both!

-went on a big grocery store trip and got lots of stuff to try new recipes, I am not much of a cook but I am trying. Tonight I made sweet and sour pork with rice it was a hit. (if you have any good recipes for me too try pass them along :)

-FINALLY decided what I am going to do for a minor, I will be doing to clusters one in sociology and the other in recreational management (basically taking the leadership and event planning classes should be fun I hope, thanks Janae for your help)

-Girls night watching Camp Rock

-hanging out with Ryan lots

-Easter baskets and easter candy

well thats what we have been up too lately, Monday was the first day back to school I don't have to work tonight yeppie for date nights. Tonight we will be meeting with the bishop in a hour to receive our callings, I am I little nervous. But after wards I get to make my little brother a HOT ROD cake for his 16th birthday tomorrow ohh I just love themed cakes.
Hot Rod is just such a funny movie that i can not decide which of the many hilarious quotes to put on the cake... so far i am thinking
"My name is Rod, and I like to party"
"um, I was gonna ask you who you think would win in a fight between...a grilled cheese sandwich and a taco?"
"cool beans"
"may your hammer be mighty"
ahhh funny movie if you have not seen it we have two so you can borrow one.
Well hope everyone has a happy earth day tomorrow, wish I could go plant a tree or something.

My college grad!!!

Today is Ryan's last day of COLLEGE! I am so proud of him, and also jealous that he is finished, two more semesters for me. He got his degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from BYU-Idaho. I am so proud of all his hard work and the good grades earned, he is really smart and motivated and I love him. Ryan did not want to walk at graduation which was fine by me, but this is what we would have looked like at his graduation... really this is the only the only recent picture of us dressed up I could find. To celebrate we are going camping to Zion's park next week, having a BBQ with the fam, and I am getting Ryan a gun... i know like he needs another but it's what he wants :)
Next step a JOB! Ryan has spent a lot of the semester job hunting, he wants to pursue a career in federal law enforcement. So pretty much I am so thankful for my smarty pants husband!
Congratulations Ryan!

meet the zoo around my neck

So have you ever had something like a piece of clothing that you love so much you never wear it, I know it sounds really silly, it is probably just me I do weird things like that. Anyways I have this necklace that my friend Nattie gave to me that I have never worn, until today, not because I don't like but because I LOVE it. I have never seen anything like it before its so cool its full of all kinds of animals and some rocks all being held to the necklace by colorful beads. I always look at in in my jewelry box and think about how much I love it but every time I go to where it, it ends up staying in the jewelry box. But not today the animals had their first of many adventures to come around my neck, today may have been a little boring for them because I was in class all day but they got lots of complements okay well not exactly complements more like interesting comments made about them. Most people many think it is a strange bit of jewelry, in fact I think when Nattie gave it to me she said something like "I know it's kinda strange, but I knew you would love it!" Well, she was right, I love it and I loved wearing it today, even though it was a bit heavy.

Sorry its not the greatest picture, my computer took it for me.
